As my lovely fiancee and I put the finishing touches on our wedding on Saturday, over at CBC Radio 3 we just released the Wedding Bells Playlist Podcast! It’s an all-request, extended show filled with listener letters, first dance songs, songs to get the dance floor hopping, wedding photos, and several episodes of Wedding Bells: The Planning of a Wedding from a Man’s Perspective… My Perspective that have been running on CBC Radio 1. Oh, and no, the people in that photo are neither Jill or I, they are in fact a pair of Radio 3 listeners that got hitched in a lovely ceremony in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia to the music of Metric.

Chimo! I have always loved talk shows, so I’m very much looking forward to being a guest on this live talk show in Vancouver, hosted by Conor Holler. I’ll be interviewed about all things CBC Radio 3 and my new book. Dan Mangan will also be a guest, as will author Charles Demers (Vancouver Special). It’s all happening Friday May 28 here in Vancouver, hope you can make it!

Chimo! Welcome to the brand new website. It makes me very happy to finally have this up and running, all thanks to Christy Nyiri and David Look from David Christy & Internet. Much appreciated for all your expert work. I have a very busy summer coming up… I’m getting married very soon, I’ll be doing a lot of traveling this summer, hosting various seminars and music festivals from coast to coast in Canada, and I’m putting out my first book Adventures in Solitude in early fall.
